Prices depend on whether you want a 3 day pass or just the Sunday and which stand you pick, but looking like 1300 pesos for a three day pass.
Here's the link the ticketing people sent me In El sitio líder en venta de entradas para recitales, teatro, deportes y mucho más | Ticketek all the rates are in Pesos ( arg) You can pay with credit card and pick up the tickets at the accreditation centre in Termas de Rio Hondo. Located at the Amerian Hotel. Message to the two Kiwis, have you been to the UK Hubb, or some similar event, probably in 2012. Am sure I've seen you around. You guys on a KTM or pair of KTMs? Mike Currently in Rio, Brasil |
Thanks mike

Rode through Termas de Rio Hondo last week.
Seems plenty of camping South of the city at the various hot springs on the way into town Couldn't recommend anything around Sam Miguel de Tucaman |

We were on two x DR650s but now on one KTM950 Super Enduro called Maya. GP, we (I) am looking like going, Ellen will likely go to Salta and I will catch her up there. Keen for a MotoGP meeting all??, I have full camping gear so if there is camping at the track I am in. Next question is anyone else wanting to do the three day thing?, also what part of the track, looking at the prices I won't do the big boys stand but No13 which is 8, 9, 10 looks like reasonable value at $188. Thoughts? |
I'd probably be up for the weekend. Am headed to Brasilia at the moment as the bike needs a bit of TLC and she's hoping we'll fine it there. I too would want to do the camping thing to keep the costs down. Haven't a clue about which stand, so would be happy to go with a group decision.

hey guys
my plan was to arrive friday and camp at the circuit approx $100 USD at gov exchange rate. There is also a fan zone/concert area 5km in the local town. approx $25usd per night. I assume there will be buses. with the exchange rate best option would be to turn up and pay at the gate but alas i feel they might be booked out especially for the camping ?? From looking at the circuit map I figure stand 11 depending which end you get to see the last corner aswell as good view across the otherside of the track. But stand 12 for the last lap would be the best depending on big screen tv around the circuit also some heavy braking for 2nd last turn and some great noise as they go up the straight. both these stands are not numbered so first in best dressed. Though if you get in early there is a general admission area between the 2 stands but there might be a bit of argie bargie pushin going on. Camping | Ticketek Hugo having fun riding through the miners stricks here in Bolivia at the moment :scooter: |
Hi guys, our plan is to get there and see what is happening, if too spendie or sold out we will head to Loki Hostel, Salta (free) and they have a big TV and a bar with bean bags.
I too will be camping, we are riding s KTM 950 Super Enduro R with Jesses. Look forward to meeting you guys. Cheers Andi |
Hello fellow moto wanderers
My wife and I have already bought our tickets for turn 11, Grada Oro. We are in Salta right now awaiting a driveshaft repair on our 2008 GSA. I have been looking for accommodations for 2 but picking are slim and costly. I just called Hotel America this morning and it is the cheapest I have found available and they want $80 US PER PERSON PER NIGHT. Another hotel wanted $100US PPPN. We don't have camping gear but for those prices it'd be worth buying cheap gear and camping 3 nights. We plan to arrive on the 24th. Would love to meet up with fellow riders...

Reasonably Priced Accommodations found in Termas!
My wife and I arrived in Termas de Rio Hondo this evening. We have found rooms for those adventure riders who will be attending the MotoGP event if you are interested. The rooms are in a small pension behind a restaurant on the main highway coming in from Tucuman. It's called Hospedaje Rojas. It's not very fancy, more hostel-like than anything. They offer wifi, tv, kitchen for your food prep, BBQ area, refrigerator to store your food, parking area, private bathrooms. There is no air conditioning and there were a number of dogs running around the property. She has 3 rooms that will accommodate 4 people and 2 rooms that will accommodate 3 people. The rooms for 4 people are configured with one queen bed and one set of bunk beds. The rooms for 3 people are configured with one matrimonial bed and one single bed. Each room with private bathroom. The room we saw appeared to be clean and looked comfortable. The cost is reasonable considering what I have been told after calling a few hotels that still have/had rooms. $333 pesos Argentinos per person per night BUT YOU MUST BE WILLING TO STAY 4 NIGHTS... Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. We are seriously considering this hospedaje and will likely be leaving a 50% deposit tomorrow am Saturday to hold a room. We are looking for a third or third and fourth person(s) to share a room with us for the 4 nights. If someone is prepared to commit, in good faith I will pay the deposit necessary to hold the room for us 3 or 4 and you can reimburse me once you arrive for the event. This hospedaje does not have a pool but the people at the hotel Florencia where we are staying tonight basically said that we could enjoy their pool, for a small tip... If you are interested, please let me know ASAP, tonight or early tomorrow am as we are on our way to Iguacu and expect to leave here by roughly 10am. The lady told us that tomorrow or the next day she will be calling tourism to publish the room availability on their website, so these rooms could go very fast once that happens. Just as an aside, the small hotel we are staying in tonight has been booked since December of last year, so once these rooms go public I think they go fast because they are not trying to gouge people like the other tourism published hotels are. So let me know if 1 or 2 people want to share a room with us. Quickly please. Sorry for the late notice but we arrived here late. Marc & Nadia Lemieux:taz:
