Best guide to Argentina
Hello All,
Before I splurge can anyone recommend a good guidebook for low budget travel in Argentina. I am particularly interested in the Atlantic coast and Patagonia. Is lonely planet the best option? Thanks in advance, Paul |
Guide Books
Hi Paul,
have a look at the Footprint guide books. Andy |
Footprint is by far the best.

Check, and I think you will find that the most recent edition of Footprint is much more current that the most recent edition of Lonely Planet
|
Footprint. No contest.

Footprint the way to go
Hola,
We have Footprint also & left the Lonely Planet in Oz. Road info is heaps better. Some accomodation info outdated, but I´m sure any (every?) guide book has some outdated info. Cheers, Cords & Aash |
Does Footprint offer hotel and restaurant price guidelines like LP does?
|
Thanks Everyone,
I've bought the footprint. Hard to review until I am out there but it looks good. Paul |
Hotel & food info
Lone Rider,
The Footprint is similar to LP in that regard in that it gives eating & accom info, but not sure if its any more accurate. Cheers, Cords |
