Tell me where you are going first and we'll start from there. We'll go for a ride when you reach Huaraz.!! |
Hi,
It,s very easy to find budget hotels with parkingspace for the bike in almost every town. Usually the cheap hotels are located in the centre... So drive to the centre and ask. If the hotel you are is to expensive or has no space, ask them where to go, they usually tell you. In all of south america I had to park in a seperate garage only once! I agree with the above, and with a little looking there is always a garage nearby.
Having said that here are two that stand out for us (mostly because nice place with garages). These were great for camping, but they both have rooms, too. Huanchaco - Naylamp Caraz - Los Pinos Cheers, Rene ------------------ Go slow, be well. |
hello out there,
thanks for your replies. in the end we found out that the information given in the 1996 south american handbook was often still adequate - to our very surprise (sometimes more than the infos of the newest LP edition!). and parking was never really a problem, except in big towns like trujillo. good luck to everyone |
