Bike rental in Argentina
 
Hi,

I'm planning a November 09 trip in Argentina, starting/ending in BA. If anyone can recommend particular bike rental shop(s) to use or avoid, I'd be grateful! Advice on destinations for a 10-14 day trip would be grand too. Currently I'm thinking W/NW to increase the odds of better wx.

We rode from BA to Ushuaia and back in November 2008 on Transalps rented from Motocare in BA. Very happy. Hghly recommended.

Hi,

Try to avoid "Motorent Argentina".To be honest I'd never use the rental service,but this company tried to organise a "Dakar Tour"2009(I booked last June),which never started.So I transfered the pre-payment,which was a 30% of the whole amount last july 08 and still waiting to get them back....

Many thanks. For some reason I thought I would get an email notice of any replies, so I'm just seeing your responses now. I see Motorcare has gotten several good reviews, both in the past and from you as well, so we'll be checking them out.
