Im leaving this week to drive down pacific coast of mexico and up Baja, Ill be driving a 2003 Shadow ACE and am concerned about securiy. Obviously I wont be leaving anything on bike but should I cover it? Lock it? And how? do many hotels provide security?

I usually covered my KLRs...and some hotels have nice gated courtyards to leave the biek in over night...no worries...but be reasonablly cautious as anywhere

I agree be as careful as you would be at home. In a lot of places there are night watchman. Lock the bike and don't worry. Have a great trip.

I don,t know about Baha, but on the mainland everywhere i stay i park in the lobby, no problem. I,ve only been turned down two times, and they were both hostals!?!
