Hi guys, did you get any more information about storing your bike? I'm in the same boat, will be arriving in/around BA on 11th December and want to see what options are available for storing my bike.

Are there any import permit issues with doing this?

You can come to Tarija Bolivia. You can store your bike for the time you like at my place.
