broken spoke rear weel honda at iqueque chile
 

hello together!

i am on a rtw tour... got stucked in iqueque chile!
have a broken spoke on the sprocket side of the back weel!

does anybody know somebody here who can help me out! mechcanic or local... or where i can order the part in chile quick on inconvinent? sorry don t speak good spanish

i know there are three diffrent sices of spokes in the back weel!

Axel, I just got a new spoke in Bogota, Colombia pretty easy. Find a dealer and they should be able to direct you to where you can find a spoke. You can ride on the rear wheel for a while before you notice anything out of wake, so if you need to ride you can. I rode on my rear wheel without a spoke for about 1000 miles without anything happening, I didnt know it had broken off until I got to Colombia. Hoep this helps,

dunno if they will be able to be of any assistance but you can try to find a bakery in Iquique. The baker's name is Michel.
His wife is french. they speak english too.

Excellent moto mechanic in Iquique. Email BEMOTO@hotmail.com but sometimes doesn't answer emails often.
Go up toward hospistal and ask around for moto mechanico. His name is Alberto but I dont know address. He is away from ocean a long way and more toward NE end of town. Get a cab. He has a fairly informal business but can fix anything. Tell him I sent you. Arlen
