Buying a vehicle in Colombia
 

Hello,

We are planning an overland trip from Colombia to Argentina. My question is- Is it possible to buy a vehicle in Colombia and take it out of the country? It seems easy enough to purchase a Vehicle there but its a little foggy as to whether you can take it out of the country? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello Adrian:

I rent motorcycles in Colombia and I have taken then over the border many times. It works the same for Colombian bikes as any other country's bikes. The same process and the same paper work.
