Buying maps of Chile, road and topographical

If you are in Santiago and are looking for maps then this shop seems to have a great selection.

Also, if any of you need good quality topographical maps then the Insituto geografico Militar sells a good range of scales 1:500,000 down to an excellent 1:50,000 (in case any of you get off your bikes and go for a stroll :smiliex:)

Their maps are approx $10,000 CP each. As for buying them, you go on the metro to the stop Toesca, street Dieciocho 369 (it is called Salon de Ventas – sales room – and is a different address to the main IGM). They are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5,30pm. They have a phone number so you can see if you map is available – 02 4109463, you will need to speak Spanish of course.
