Just arrived in Cali, foreign bikes here seem to have dried up unlike the rest of the country this time of year. Eager to start my trip on two wheels, cheers, Danny

This is the season for heading south to Argentina for the summer, so you really need to plan ahead if you're looking for a foreign registered bike around Colombia in October to January.

Its fairly easy and legal to buy Colombian registered bikes, but the prices are high due to the 80% import tax here. The good thing is that you most likely will get all or most your money back if you come and sell it here again:scooter:
