cartagena customs
 

Hello all, we are sea freighting 2 bikes from the UK to Cartagena. Has anyone cleared customs by themselves from Cartagena or in Colombia? We have been told by a local agent that it's easy, but this being our first time I' m not so sure! Would using an agent be best? Also a rough idea of what port charges and clearence costs maybe if anyone has been recently. All help appreciated!

just done this 3 months ago its easy thing ,just took me a day ,coz they are quiet lazy to go there to check your bike bla bla bla ,dont worry just go there .,if u past cali look for Asturia bike shop they are very friendly group ,they are near a casa blanca hostel.

cheers carlos will have to give it a go, think more worried about my spanish than anything although I am going through the 'go up the stairs along the corridor and its the second door on the left' part of our spanish course on a regular basis!!:confused1:!! what were the handling and clearance charges when you went through?
