Colombia - Closed roads - Ruta 45 and 66
 

Both routes from Bucarramanga are closed due to flooding, landslides and roads being washed away.

The 45 is North to Santa Marta and the 66 West to Medellin.

After getting upto date info on the Santa Marta route, and seeing pictures from a backpacker who walked the closed section (buses drop people off on each side and then they have upto an hours walk to the next bus) we opted to use the 66 to Medellin (we had been heading North from Bogota).

We had not made the correct inquiries on that section, it is also rightly stuffed.

We made it across due to the size of the bikes, I doubt something like a GS1200 would make it.
