Colombia truckers strike adverse effects?
 

Anyone actually in Colombia that can give me an idea if the month long truckers strike has affected their road travels?
Ps can anyone recomend a nice dive resort on the Caribbean coast

Down south it made for NICE riding---completely clear roads, no fumes, no buses or trucks slowing you down, and hardly any cars or motos!

Did you buy the SOAT at the customs house on the border??
I plan to cross the border tomorrow via Tulcan. I take it that you would travel anyway?

We bought SOAT from a shop on the right just past the customs building - big sign outside.
