I might be able to help.
I have lived here 10 years, know most of the bike shops and a reliable mechanic for medium and large dual purpose bikes.

I have bought and sold 6 cars and 4 bikes here so I kind of know the drill, though it always seems to change.

I will be in Santiago from Jan 7 on.

My name is Jarrah, and I am a 24yo Aussie travelling with my mate Evan from Santiago to Cartagena in Columbia over the next two months. We are going to buy bikes here as well in the next week or so (got our temp RUT's today) and would love to know some good dealerships or outlets to find some 250 Honda XLR esque bikes semi off for Bolivia for around $2000 US as possible.

Can we go for a beer or perhaps ask for some advice from you? Would be very much appreciated mate.

Didnt see this as I was down south in Concepcion without internet access. Just back this AM.
