Flights from UK into S.A

Whats your experiences with booking flights. Im not sure of a return date as yet. COuld be a year, or 6months down the line.

Obviously we can no longer book open tickets. Where have you found the best for say flying into Caracas, Quito or BA? and what sort of costs have you found?

If you want to fly from Heathrow to BA (return) you can pick flights up for around 750ukp/person.

If you are booking one way flights, then the price can ramp up.

We will be returning BA->Madrid (because we can) with AirEuropa and that is 900ukp/per person (one way).

If you do it as a round trip, it seems to be the same cost :-(

I spent ages looking into it, in the end I used Round the World Experts | Creating the perfect tailor-made Round the World itinerary for you to book it, as they would do date changes for 100ukp/person.

And its next to impossible to book 12 months in advance of your return date.
