RIP Tiberio.

He was a great guy. Tiberio rescued me with his truck outside of Cartegena when my bike broke down. He enjoyed helping and meeting travelers. It was very interesting to talk to him about the Darien Gap and Pablo Escobar.

I did not know Tiberio for long but I knew him well enough to know that he enjoyed spending his time hanging out with the guys at his former motorcycle shop Moto Angel and spending time with his son on their farm.

Tiberio

Yes, all you are correct. He used to gather motorcyclists for long weekends ridings along Colombia for free, just to enjoy the ride with 30-50 bikers. Booking hotels and restaurants too.

As he was the first in family to get a moto, he always advice us about technics, about riding, about places, about bikes, etc. When he owned the shop, most of the works were for free. Among us his coussins, he was always the best parter, and I know he was a good partner for everyone.

As I'm going to SouthAmerica, he sometimes was more interested in my trip than myself. He always advise me.

Colombian motorcycle community lost a very good guy.
