Help a brother out in Lima?
 

Hola Sudamericanos,

Hey, I'm coming down from New York on my 1975 CB500T and am looking for a place to stash the bike for a week while I take a side trip to Easter Island(!).

Anyone have any garage space (or any space really) for my bike?

Leaving on the 29th of July and returning on the 6th of August.

There might even be a plastic Moai head in it for you.

No seriously, any help would be appreciated.

I am staying at La Paz Aparthotel in Miraflores. They stored my bike in their secure garage for free whilst I was in the Uk for a few weeks. rooms are not cheap but it may suit you. It is a treck to the airport tho'

Nice people too.

You will enjoy Easter Is. Rent a motorbike, it is the best way to get around and good fun.

staying at: Backpacker`s Tambopacaya in Lima.

Scott, the owner, is pretty accommodating and is letting me stash the bike for free in the garage while I'm away at Easter Island.

It's a pretty relaxed place in a quiet, safe part of Lima w/ a garage.

And cheap.

Really, a great spot if you're headed through Lima and looking for a cheap, clean place to stay with a place for the bike. Scott is working on opening another site in Caral so if you're planning on stopping in Lima or Caral, check the website and hit him up with an email and let him know you're coming through.

Planning a 1 month ride Peru, Bolivia maybe chile. Know of any good motorcycle rental place (Couple of decent 600cc bikes) in Lima? So far the ones we found on the web are pretty expensive.
