Balls.

The fix the KTM guy did in Salta worked but on 133 mile dirt road from Tupiza to Uyuni, 100 of which is really bad washboard, my preload failed. Now left with about 2" of clearance. :(

Any way to fix what broke with the pre load? What about installing spacers as
mentioned earlier? I doubt you'll find much expert help around Uyuni ... maybe back track to Argentina? Or find a fellow rider in the area who knows shocks?
So many pass through Uyuni.

La Paz may bring joy ... but you're a week or so ride from there, yes?

Two days from la paz now. Anyone know of any decent bike/machine shops?

Here's what I found in my swingarm after the Salar.






It's the preload adjuster. It must have worked it's way loose which is why the preload retreated.
