Honda GL 150 for sale in Chile
 

Hi all,

I am about to finish my trip and would like to sale the bike.
It's small (150 cc) but reliable and cheap bike.
Let me know if you may be interested. Details below:

Honda GL 150cc, year 2015 (that's what's in the papers lol, it's 3 months old) ~10000 km, red. No problems during the trip, serviced regularly.

I just moved to Santiago for about a year or so and am looking at buying a bike... You see 125-250s all over the place here but they still seem so SMALL to me, especially compared to the VStrom 1000 I have in the US. How is that 150 on the highway? Or, is something like that mostly for the city (even though your photo suggests otherwise)? If you can convince me that a 150 would be a good bike for riding mostly outside Santiago, with occassional 2 up, I might be interested, but it will be a tough sell :)

It is small and it feels small. But that's not always a disadvantage. It's easier to park in a city ;-) Also the small weight makes it fun and easy ride on unpaved roads (as long as it is not too sandy - the tyres I have now are not good for that).

Now for the highway - its a bit slow. I make 80kmph +/- 10 depending on the conditions (wind, slope). Note that I have a passenger and 25km of luggage, see the picture below for complete setup pokryfka - starsi, grubsi, bogatsi: On Panamericana / Dziękuję przyjaciołom za pomoc z...

Im perfectly ok with that speed on smaller and more picturesque roads but it feels boring on highway.

I did ride the bike on roads up to 4800 m as and I did not have to push it ;-) but there were moment when I was riding 20kmph on 2nd gear ;-)

To sum up - for the city and smaller road and I think its a very fine choice.
For highways and more challenging conditions I was considering Kawasaki KLR 650 or Tornado - but these are a few times more expensive choices.

So as they say: basically the more expensive are better but the less expensive are cheaper therefore also better ;-)

Im back to Santiago if anyone would like to see the bike. I has 11500 km.
