How dificult is to get colombian driver license?
 

I need to buy a motorcycle in Colombia. I have 5 weeks. It seems that that the law requires a Colombian ID to buy a motorcycle.

I know that some people here bought a new motorcycle without a Colombian ID and the dealer managed the processing of ownership papers.

As I don't know wether I will choose to buy new or used, and thinking living there 6 months a year in the future, it seems that getting Colombian Driver license is the way to go.

Colombia is Colombia, and I know anything can end up being a night mare. So I would like to hear from anyone who has gone thrue this
