The Infamous Ruta 14 - Situation now?
 

Soon to be heading up that way so had a look at the Ruta 14 topic to see if there is anything new reported.

Seems that apart from a bit of off-topic philosophical discussion between XFiltrate, myself and a couple of others, there has been nothing new reported for about 12 months.

Does that mean the corrupt behaviour has ended or are all travellers just pulling up with a fan of US dollars in their hand and inviting the police to take the right amount.
