KLR650 parts wanted in SA, around Peru
 

Changed the piston, forgot the circlip on the pin. Need a new cylinder, new brain would be nice too but will probably have to wait for Ciudad del Este.

Anybody with a lead on a parts KLR would save my hide.

What year KLR 650?


Last guy needing a cylinder flew home to USA from Argentina, bought a used engine and carried parts back as luggage. It was not an inexpensive solution.


Was a used KLR for sale in Colombia, $1,500 I believe. Not a bad place to be a tourist for a few days if that's the closest parts bike, and hard for him to sell in Colombia.

Thank you sir! I just found one here for $300... it's a sellers market I guess, but I'm not too worried about someone else snapping it up so will keep looking for a less expensive option for a little bit, at least.
