Leaving bike in Argentina
 

Hi y'all,
I'm looking at leaving my bike in Bs Aires and traveling to Chile by bus for an excursion. I've heard that I may not be permitted to leave Argentina without my bike. Does anyone have experience with this?

We have 3 spaces in our safe and secure parking garage in Buenos Aires prices etc can be seen at web site below.

Argentina will issue a temporary vehicle import permit for 8 months,but you must ask for it at point of entry.... Generally the TVIP is issued for only 3 months. You can leave your bike in Argentina legally.

Also, I think Dakar Motos offers parking ... I am not sure if he has space or not...best contact Javier

2 questions.

i have bee told that very recent rule has changed about leaving vehciles in argenina ?
aparently [ rumour ? ] a swiss fella was refused exit at BA airport by immigration because he was leaving vehicle.
Can you please confirm ?

second question.
i need storage for a small 4x4 van. about sze of landrover.
need to store for 3 months. ideally near to airport.
can you help with this ?
