Leaving Bike in Panama for 2 months?
 

Has anyone ever left a bike in Panama and taken a flight out of the country for awhile returning to continue the trip in a couple of months?
I am planning to fly home for a couple months to do a job that will last until the end of February and then come back to ride my bike back home(Canada).
My question is can you just book a flight and leave or will I have problems trying to leave with my passport having the vehicle import stamp on it?
Any advice would be appreciated.

It's not a problem at all. I left my bike in Panama for about a month while I flew back to the States. My riding buddy, Barb, left hers there for a few weeks while she flew to Colombia.
