Looking for help buying a motorcycle in South America
 

Hello everybody,

I am interested in buying a used motorcycle in South America. I already read the thread of buying a motorcycle in Santiago Chile. But I am not sure if the information are up to date since the thread started many years ago.

Maybe someone can tell me more about buying a motorcycle in South America.
Is Chile the best (easiest) country to buy a bike?
Are there some locals in this forum who can help to find and buy a bike and get all the papers done for traveling South America (border crossing)?

Any hints are welcome!
