Monument in Atacama Desert
 

Friend and I will be traveling in Atacama in about a month. Trying to find location of the monument in Grant/Susans trip. (not the big "Hand".. been there) The photo I have is a faxed photo and not clear. Just need location. We'll find it. Thanks.

There was a photo in Edmonton Herald (Canada) with article written about World Two Wheel Tour and had photo of your BMW with custom bags sitting between two 50 foot sculptures. Article said photo was taken by Grant Johnson. I don't know date of article. I have only the photo and not the article but can get more if needed.

That was in the Atacama. I saw a sculpture, can't remember which one, from the highway, pulled off to have a look, and there it was.

Probably somewhere near the hand, but don't hold me to it.

I guess wee need a GPS co-ordinate for it and the other sculptures! Anyone?

The Hand is about 20 miles south of Antofasgasta, maybe not even that. You can´t miss it.
