An important point to remember about driving licences' is if you do not have a full valid motorcycle licence your travel. as in medical insurance will be void if you have an accident and need treatment, it is certainly the case for UK insurance companies and is possibly the same for others, they will ask about this if you claim and will refuse to payout if you are riding without one, it has happened to others.
