Motorcycle- Wanted (Peru October)
 

Searching to buy a motorcycle.
I will be in Lima, Peru in October.

Plan to tour Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
Looking to get a solid bike- I am open to most models.

Any tips/advice for buying a bike would also be mucho appreciated!

I plan to sell my 2011 Suzuki DR650, titled in Texas, equipped for adventure riding in September in Paraguay. I've heard that it is the easiest place in South America to get all the paperwork completed. The engine and suspension are stock. The modifications that I made to the bike were for protection, comfort and long range travel. I'm the original owner and bought the bike new, but it now has 23,000 miles. It is in great shape with only cosmetic scrapes. I've had no issues with the bike other than standard maintenance like changing the oil, filters, tires and spark plugs. I had a full tune up conducted at 20,000 miles by a Suzuki dealer in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

I'm asking US$6,500 with the many goodies.
