Mystery Hotel in or around Tupiza, Bolivia
 

How is it?

Half-remember reading somewhere about a (surprisingly) nice hotel, maybe Italian-owned, maybe linked to another business in La Paz, somewhere round Tupiza or San Vicente, that some rider had used as a base to explore the beautiful Potosi backroads. Any clues? Any help? Searching's getting me nowhere, and for some reason this is quietly driving me demented.
