new tyres in Mendoza?
 

Hola,

Anyone who knows if new tyres for two BMW's 650 are available in Mendoza (17" 80 or 90/130, 21" 90/100)? Currently in Salta with another one or two thousand km to go, but need to replace them then. We're heading for Mendoza, afterwards in direction of the lake district (Bariloche).

The Police in Mendoza use the Dakar so I suppose you don’t will have to much troubles to find tires there the most frequently are the Pirelli MT-60 or also you can get the MT-21 off-road.
Tell me if you have any problems to get that, I can send to you anywhere from Bs. As.

Excellent! We have the pirellis mt 21 now (got them in Sucre), but on tarmac they worn out fast. We'll just look for the police then...

we just bought tyres for a klr250 in mendoza. they had a good selection of sizes. the shop was the main honda dealer, cant remember the street name but we stumbled across it on the main route into town. it is a big shop and i am sure many people will know where it is or you could look up the address on hondas website. we got mt90s 90/90-21 120/90-17 for US$120. they also had a 130/90/17 in stock.
