nice stuff
hey Jose - great fotos - that place looks amazing - take me out there please if I ever make it back to Chile - (the foto with the stones on the iced lake is a cracker!). Am in Paraguay west - the Gran Chaco - horrible straight asphalt with annoying ruts - boring roads so far - am going to cross into Brazil through Bela Vista and go up that way - got a map today so off onto the backroads from tomorrow - its all German speaking and Mennonites here - a bizarre ´cultural car crash´ of tropical/european/indigineous/germanic - very un S.American - everything works! haha - still, didnt stop one of those ´draft dodging louses´ from pinching my very expensive watch from the bathroom last night! - i hate watches myself and dont usually wear one but my friends got me one before I left - well thats a little less load for the old tenere to bear
will post more fotos soon f |
Agree. Great images. Have just returned from a four day KTM ride exploring Chile. Had some business in Santiago, stayed over and had a fantastic time -- almost made it to the Argentine border east of La Serena one day, explored the lonely coast another, etc.

Brilliant photos! I bloody envy you! Wherearounds was that trip? I presume somewhere around the Santuario Yerba Loca?
A few years ago I cruised up the Maipo valley to the Termas de Colina. That was lovely too, but no serious off-road ;-) Hans |
Infectious stuff
Great photos Fergal man, so altitude's more fun than the humid plains. Will follow your journey with interest. U got that infection now.Probably see u in Africa next year heading there soon.
