Ride report posted on ADVrider. Had some interuptions for refitting and refunding but started in Aug 2009 heading up to New Foundland, far North of Quebec to the Trans Tiaga and back home to get little bike ready for Central and South America. Left again in Nov 2010 went through Central America left Panama on boat and went to Colombia. Got back on said boat and took bike up to Jamacia, Cuba, Jamaica, Providencia, and back to Panama and finally back again to Colombia where I'm refunding at the moment. 33 1/3 NCS or what I figure as 33 and 1/3% or the world-The Americas plus some Caribbean.

A work in progress:scooter:

Great Thread

Thanks Scooper

We are travelling from New Zealand To Anchorage, up to Deadhorse down to Ushuaia then zig zagging our way back up starting April 2012, looking to be on the road for 1.5 - 2 years ish so these links are great.

We will in turn be doing ride reports, photos and info as well for those later down the track. :thumbup1: :thumbup1:

Thanks for putting these links together. I think that I've read through a few of them, but often have trouble finding them when I want to refer back. I'll be heading south in September, so I have some reading to catch up on.

south america on a 200cc chinese bike

i bought a 200cc chinese bike from another traveller in Santiago de Chile about 6 months ago - and have since spent about 2 months more in Argentina and Chile, and 3.5 months in Bolivia.

I have a blog that is more of a travel commentary rather than a play by play bike focussed blog, but if anyone needs info on places to stay/repair shops/road conditions on any of my routes - please drop me a line :)

blog is: chasing serendipity
lots of pics at: Picasa Web Albums - FatMeercat

looked at these links before and read most of them related to South America, but they are not ongoing and that is for me important
Thanks

Monster ... pretty neat put together, lots of good info
my own blog I lost last week by playing with it and deleting by accident my Google account and not realizing my blog was part of it
Trying to recover, but no success, any google insiders here, with some ideas
My blog was http://ronald-janssen.blogspot.com/

Thanks, I'm new to blogging. I'm starting to feel more comfortable writing. I've been thinking about experimenting with my story telling by combining text, photos, audio and video. Traveling by bike is such a full on sensory experience. Sometimes I feel like my words and images just don't tell the story adequately.
