Ongoing blogs in South America
Like to see a list of ongoing blogs in Central- or South America, or on their way to South America or just finished their trip in the last 3 months.
These blogs have most of the time a wealth of info about routes, closures, border crossings, personal experiences, etc, and like to use this info for my next trip to South America, Been googling and looking in the Hubb forums a few days now and do not really find what I am looking for, so I try it here I just finished a trip a few days ago and one early this year Check it out and let start with this one on the list. If the owners of the blogs below see there "Last Known Location" is wrong or do not want to be on this list, PM me and I will make the changes! Hi Scooper,
I'm in SA at the moment (Peru) having ridden down from Alaska. I was riding north in 2009 when I got fed up with fixing my Beemer, shipped it back to Europe and bought a DR650 in the US. Hence my blog is a little disjointed. Basically 2009 Chile/Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil/Paraguay/Bolivia/Peru. 2010 Mexico/Central America. 2011 Central America/Colombia/Ecuador/Peru. There's a link to my site in my sig line. Happy planning! :thumbup1: |

We just got back at the end of May from our trip. See sig for blog. Also on my blog are a bunch of links to riders we met on the way. Hope that helps.

Ride report posted on ADVrider. Had some interuptions for refitting and refunding but started in Aug 2009 heading up to New Foundland, far North of Quebec to the Trans Tiaga and back home to get little bike ready for Central and South America. Left again in Nov 2010 went through Central America left Panama on boat and went to Colombia. Got back on said boat and took bike up to Jamacia, Cuba, Jamaica, Providencia, and back to Panama and finally back again to Colombia where I'm refunding at the moment. 33 1/3 NCS or what I figure as 33 and 1/3% or the world-The Americas plus some Caribbean. A work in progress:scooter: |

Would like to add you as well in my bloglist on my blog Central America on one or two Wheels, but for some reason if part of the address is the Hubb or ADV, it creates a link, but not to yours, ( It drops the referral page), but I am working on this. Anybody knows how to do this! |

We have a blog too! :-)
After sailing with Grimaldi from London to BA where we finally met the infamous Javier & Sandra we hit the road on our two F650s looking for adventures and with less than 6 months riding experience each before we started, we were sure to find it!
Chloe & I have been to Ushuaia and are currently in Peru and heading to Chivay/Nasca/Cusco over the next few days. After a car crash in Rio Grande (TDF), running from forest fires in Torres Del Paine and dropping the bike in a River near San Martin de Los Andes. We went on to build a library with our bare hands for a small Bolivian Community before looking further north for more adventures and writing material! Its all on our blog if you have a spare 5 minutes, routes, photos, stories and advice. Feel free to keep in touch if you have any questions.
