Online assurance for brazilian bike in Uruguay?
 

Hey,
I have a problem with my brazilian Yamaha XT225. I crossed the border from Brazil to Uruguay without the Green Card. The guys of the brazilian assurance office told me that they couldn't do it because it was under 250cc. and they don't give Green Card for those kind of bikes, so they gave me a signed paper to show in the Uruguay aduana. In Uruguay told me that I could pass, after a 20 RS tip, but I had to get the Green Card into the country.
So, I was asking in Uruguayan assurance companies and they don't make it for foreign vehicles.... I have to go to Argentina and I am with a non assurance brazilian bike in Uruguay.
What can I do???

Sometimes they want to send the original insurance police by normal mail, but you can ask them to scan it and send it to you by email. I always travel around with an email print and has been accepted always.
