Over Gulf of Mexico
I'm thinking of be taking a ferry across the Gulf of Mexico around mid-september to
shorten my drive to Costa Rica. I'll leave from Florida. Anyone who has done something similar? and or knows about any operator with routes in this area? |

Just spoke with a roaddog in a well-worn HiViz suit who told me the ferry from FLA to Cancun is great... Mind you, this was a roadside chat, but as I understand it, the trip takes 3 days, $75 round trip(!) camp on the deck o' boat. I will look around a bit for more specifics, but I think the ferry is on winter-season in the Gulf after the summer season in Nova Scotia... G'luck--Xavier |
