Please visit stranded biker - Broken foot - Las Barrancas Rutas 40, Argentina
 

Hi guys,

a couple of days ago we met Bryan and Ruth, two guys from England in Barrancas, Ruta 40, Argentina north of Chos Mallal. They had an accident on a R 1150 GS and he broke his foot. They are already there for 3 weeks and have to stay 3 more weeks. They are very bored, staying downtown, in front of camping Domuyo, right next door, bike in the back of the house, you can see it from the street. They have good coffee!

Hey,
I survived a terrible accident on my way to Perú , in the middle of nowhere in the chilean desert. Broken ankle and 17 screws. 4 hard months of recovery. I´m leaving towards Ushuaia on Sunday , and i was told that the combination of deep loose gravel and crosswinds at the 40 is not a good one. Here we go again, what the hell!!!!.
I will try to pass by Chos Malal and stay with the guys for a while. I know how it feels.
