Power of Attorney (Poder) in Buenos Aries to enter Chile
Hi i was just wondering if a power of attorney/ poder in B.A. to transfer ownership of a foreign bike (US plated) is sufficient to enter to Chile since they have a computer data base with VIN / Chassis numbers and owners of the vehicle? Has anybody had success doing this in the past?

Also, does any one know how much a poder/ notary could cost?

Yes, it will absolutely work.
I sold my Jeep in Argentina using a Poder, and the new owner has driven it all over South America now. Checkout Overland Argentina Travel - WikiOverland For more info. Sorry, I can't remember how much it cost, and I didn't write it down. I don't think it was a lot. -Dan |
