Hi, Va1. :welcome:
Yep. there are some tips: - avoyd travel in the night; :oops2::scooter: - it you cross the borderer Uruguay/Brazil at Chuí, try to reach the city of Rio Grande; - The road between Chuí and the city of Rio Grande passes through the Taim ecological reserve - "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taim_Ecological_Station"; Atention: it is VERY dangerous this road at night. :oops2:There are lots of animals crossing the road. So, ride only in daylight, and you shall meet immense diversity of fauna and flora, as well as a wonderful freshwater beach known as Praia da Capilha. - a very old hotel at Rio Grande: Hotel Vila Moura/Paris Hotel. Historic and beautiful building, narrow and charming corridors, simple rooms and adapted bathrooms because the building is very old so that in its time of construction there was no such system. ("https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=hotel+paris+em+rio+grande%2Frs") Have a nice trip!! :mchappy: |
Or camp right on the beach at Praia do Cassino, a small resort south of Rio Grande. The beach is good to drive on and safe to camp ( it is even possible to drive the whole aprx 200 km between the Uruguay border and Cassino).
There is also a neat campsite at the entrance of the town Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-A405FN met Tapatalk |
