Hi,
had anybody done the road from Potosi till Villazon? I made it 3 years ago, and I want to know if still is all dirt?

We did this road 2up about 6 weeks ago. I would say that about 50% of it is dirt. The rest is either paved or concrete. The road was in good condition all the way. If you like dirt roads you will have a blast especially on the Tupiza/Villazon stretch (all dirt but no unpleasant surprises like the Potosi Uyuni road!).

Strange, I arrived in Potosi today, coming from Uyuni, and I found the road an awful lot more pleasant than Villazon-Tupiza. Dirt is fine, corrugations are not, they cost me both mirrors...
