Road Types
 

Hi all

I bought almost all the maps that I will need to tour around SA. In general on the maps, road are separeted in 4 types:
- Highway
- Main Road (paved, unpaved all weather)
- Seasonal Roads
- Tracks

I order to plan my trip and select which bike I want to take, can you give me a general idea of how a Seasonal Road looks like in SA? Plenty of pothles? solid dirt when dry but big mud hole when wet?
Can it be ridden with a street bike with dual sport tires?


What about tracks? Big ruted trails, river crossing, a lots of big rocks. Better with a small cc bike.
