Sea freight from Australia to South America
Hi,
I'm doing an around the world trip setting off from the UK in April 2017. I will eventually arrive in Australia and then want to ship the bike to the most southern part of South America. Does anybody have any experience/ideas in how to do this? Cheers, Dunky |
Grimaldi will take you from Tilbury to Montevideo. This is your best option.

My bike is currently on its way from Melbourne to Valparaiso. I personally suggest you use Bikes Abroad. He was the fourth shipper I dealt with: the first one I didn't hear anymore after THREE MONTHS!!! so I had to start looking for a new shipper while I was in Melbourne... The second one's prices was ridiculous. The third one seemed ok at the start and I do believe she tried but the agent in Valparaiso suddenly changed his mind after a week and my shipper had to start looking for another agent. A week later I contacted Ivan from BikesAbroas and apologised to shipper number three, my bike was picked up a week later. I will write my shipping on the dedicated page when I have my bike
