Presumably you need to be there yourself for the border crossing and to hand over the bikes to the shippers in Montevideo, so I'd look for a shipper to Buenos Aires - much easier to avoid crossing a border with someone else's bikes as cargo - and from BA it's an easy ferry trip across to Colonia or direct to Montevideo. Also, BA is a wonderful city to visit.
In reality, I think it will be much more productive for you to look for a trucking/freight forwarding company on the ground in Ushuaia than asking on an English-speaking forum, but indeed, perhaps some other HUBBers have done something like it.
