Shipping 2 bikes from UK to Peru, Lima and returning from Antafagosta
 

Hi,

Myself and my partner are trying to organsie a trip to Peru, Bolivia and to finish in Chile. We had originally planned to have our bikes shipped from england to Lima and then return from antafagosta. We are having real trouble finding shipping for a reasonable price. The quotes have been around £4000. Then when we looked at renting ... well that has also worked out to be about £3500. Is there anyone who would be able to offer some advice on what to do I would really really appreciate it because at this time it looks like our destination may change :(

I didn´t ship, I rode down from Canada, but I´ve met many that have shipped their motos from Europe.

Most shipped to Buenos Aires for much less than what you are quoting here.

It would mean different travel arrangements, but might be a better option.
