Shipping a bike from Europe To Argentina/Uruguay/Brazil
 
Hi.

we're planning to visit relatives in Montevideo and we wish to stay for at least a month to visit a bit of Argentina.
Hence I'm looking for any information about shipment of the bike from Europe (France) to Argentina or Uruguay or Brazil.
By air or by sea.
any info is welcome here. website, email, prices, anything as I'm a 100% newbie in this area :innocent:

shipping will indeed be a bit costly plus the usual hassle involved with shipping, not what you need when having just 1 month. In case you do want to ship it forget Brazil. Your holiday= month will be filled with paperwork there. Argentina is the better choice. In uruguay they are not used to tourist vehicles arriving by air or sea and it takes longer to get your bike through customs than in Buenos Aires
