Shipping Buenos Aires to UK
 

Hi all

Was hoping if there is anyone that can help. We are trying to ship our vehicle back from Argentina to the UK but are struggling to find shipping agents in Buenos Aires that can provide us with quotes. so far we have tried the following:

Hellman, Grimaldi and cargo plus, all agents that have been mentioned on this site in the past - we have tried emailing on several occasions over the past 2 weeks but have had no response. This is normal?

We have received one quote from foxcargo for a 20' container which seems very expensive as follows:

Ocean Freight US$ 1,850
Customs fees US$ 150
Local Fees/charges US$ 500
Custom Broker Bue US$ 200
Warehousing charges US$ 980
Port Terminal Charges US$ 330
Total US$4,010

Has anyone shipped this route recently? and if so are the above prices reasonable? any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

I have just talked to them... they do not ship the motorbikes. They are expert on moving...

Maybe worthwhile checking aircargo i.e. Lufthansa cargo....? Contact on their website.
