Shipping Buenos Aires to UK Sep 2010...?
 

Heya Everyone,

I'm heading back to Argentina in Sep. to ship my bike back to the UK. I know people have posted Lufthunsa for EUR1500, and Hamburg Sud - they are not sailing in Sep.
I have received a quote from an agent in BA, which also seems a bit steep:

Ocean Freigth: usd 750
Port of origin: Buenos Aires
Port of destination: Londres or Felixstowe

Wood Crate: usd 180
Agency Charges:usd 200
Customs Broker: usd 320

Weekly schedule

Transit time Londres : 30 days
Transit timet Felixstowe: 33 days

I'm a UK resident so it will be a permanent import into the UK.
Any advice / recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
