Shipping Moto from Georgetown, Guyana

Looking to ship moto KLR 650 from Georgetown to Cuba, Panama or Mexico end of Sept 2017. Air or ship? Best options for price and schedule?

There is a lot of shipping activity in Georgetown, Guyana. I saw the container ships from the dark back area of the Stabroek Market, where the Rasta boys hang out smoking ganja.

When you have a clearer idea of where you are going, find a Freight Forwarding Service and request a quote. Use a service that has an office n the port of delivery, otherwise you will be paying additional cost to a second service when clearing your bike from the port of delivery.

Shipping "loose cargo" (i.e. crated) verses a 20' container will be cheaper, but may take longer. Forwarding services need to fill a container to make the order profitable, so the schedule may not be iron clad. A busy forwarding service is more likely to be on schedule, for shipments to the ports that see the greatest volume. If you are fixed on delivery to a back water port, then I hope you aren't in a hurry. The bigger container liners have regularly scheduled service and even they are subject to the whims of weather.
