We should meet you somewhere down the road. As we plan to cross into Bolivia from Brazil at the Pantanal in January!

I hope that it's not to late for this info. but whatever you do, do not use the "Indiana" booking agency or "Ecological tours", as they are both unbelievably bad. Having said that the Pantanal is worth a visit just don't let the above mentioned try and ruin it for you in fact if you have the time pop into Bolivia and use one of their Pantanal tour companies, far better value for money.
