Storing or selling bike in Chile!Argentina

Hi folks!
Decisions decisions...
I am in La Paz right now and wanted to head to Ushuaia. A family gathering "forces" me to interrupt my trip in the beginning of april. So now I am wondering if I should continue south or go to the HU meeting in Brazil and leave the bike there for a continuation later this year.
If I make an attempt south and run out of time, what are the options to store (worst case, sell) it in for example Santiago de Chile? I think I would come back in october, that makes it a storage time of around 6 or 7 months...
Any advise is welcome!
Thanks!

I don't know if this would help but you can leave my bike in my garage. I'm in Rio Gallegos, not far away from Ushuaia.

I've stored my bike in Argentina for several years. They used to give eight month TVIPs which made it easy but lately I've only been able to get a three month TVIP so Uruguay is the best choice since they allow You a full year and there's a guy named Kevin that stores bikes in Montivideo with plenty of references. Brazil no longer issues TVIP so you can store it there as long as you want.

Brazil is the other option, instead of going south now...
Great info with Montevideo and Kevin, thanks!
