Temporary Import Permit in South Americas

Can anyone advise me on countries in South Americas that allows temporary vehicle import permit and those where CdP is a must. I plan to ship the bike from Singapore to Argentina and make our way up. Thanks a mill.

No CdP is required in south America. You just show up at the borders, they stamp your passport, they give you a paper from customs with the details of the bike which you must present at the next border exit. That's it.

Also, some nationalities need a visa or reciprocity payment to get into some countries and sometimes that has to be arranged before you get to the border.

Liability insurance is another issue you need to research.
